Phyllis Ann Blanton, age 78, of Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at home.

Phyllis was born June 14, 1943 Clark County, Ohio. Daughter of the late Nellie Gillispie and adopted parents, Orville and Sarah Brunton.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Blanton, brothers, David Morris, Jerry Stone and grandchild, US Marine, Lcpl Jason Daniel.

She is survived by her children, Jeffery Prugh of Southgate, Kentucky Cheryl Endicott and (Kenny) Moore of Van Lear, Kentucky. Terry & Larry (Deceased) Maxwell of Springfield, Ohio, grandchildren, Gary (Brandy) Stevens of Springfield, Ohio,  Travis (Michelle) Maxwell of Medway, Ohio, Dylan (Morgan) Maxwell of Jamestown, Ohio, Tehya Maxwell of Springfield, Ohio and five great grandchildren.

Phyllis retired from Western Construction and was a volunteer for ARH Highlands Hospital.

Graveside Service will be held August 28 ^th at 11am at Patty Flat Cemetery, Flat Gap, KY.  Pastor Kevin Collins will be officiating.
