Randall Gale Powers, age 72, of Staffordsville, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, September 13, 2025.

He was born January 1, 1953, in Paintsville, KY, to the late Buck and Josephine Reed Powers. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Randall Derrick Powers (January 8, 2015); four brothers, Roger Powers, Paul Powers, Jerry Powers, and Ben Daniels; and two sisters, Linda Powers and Nancy Tackett.

Survivors include the mother of his children: Deloris Caudill; one son: Michael Darrin (Amanda) Powers of Riceville, KY; two daughters: Melissa Jaynes of Leander, KY, Amy (Gary) Watkins of Denver, KY; one brother: Bob Daniels of River, KY; one sister: Betty Hatcher of VA; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Randall served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a self-employed carpenter.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Chad Keathley officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, and on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M.
