Reta Gay Henderson Musick, age 66, of River, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 9th, 2024 at Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, Kentucky.

Reta was born July 9, 1958 in Grundy, Virginia, daughter of the late Millard Estep and Mary Frances Henderson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Musick and sister, Pamela Yvonne McGlothin and brother, Ricky Estep.

She is survived by one son, Jamie Musick of Boons Camp, Kentucky; one daughter, Crystal Allen of Prestonsburg, Kentucky; one brother, Ronnie Hurt of Pikeville, Kentucky; three sisters, Nioakha Walley of Trinity, North Carolina, Karen Rollins of Madison, West Virginia and Drema Stiltner of Mouthcard, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Tyler Musick, Tanner Allen and Candace Allen; and one great grandson, Jackson Gray.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Van Lear Freewill Baptist with Paul Wayne Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Van Lear Free Will Baptist Church Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 Noon.
