His years of service were an important part of his life and reflected the dedication, strength, and sense of duty that those who knew him came to admire and respect.

Richard was preceded in death by his beloved first wife, Eiko Bolden, the mother of his daughter, June. Eiko held a very special place in Richard's heart throughout his life. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bolden, whom he loved very much, as well as his parents, Neil Bolden and Margie Mitchell.

He leaves behind his daughter, June Davis and her husband, Leewood Davis Jr; and his grandson, Landon Riley Davis, who was an incredible source of pride and joy in his life.

Richard is also survived by his brothers, Charles Douglas Bolden and his wife, Jolene, and David Bolden; and Rebecca James. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Gary Branham, Phillip Branham, Randall Branham, and Keith Branham; numerous nieces and nephews; and many special friends whose lives he touched over the years.

A special acknowledgment is given to his niece, Sheena Branham, and her daughter, Aleena, who held a special place in Richard's life and heart

Richard was a man who was loved by many, admired by many, and respected by many. His presence made an impression on those fortunate enough to know him, and the relationships he built throughout his life will remain part of his legacy.

Before his passing, Richard accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. His family takes great comfort in knowing that he left this life with faith in his heart and the promise of eternal life.

Above all, Richard was a father, grandfather, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and proud United States Navy veteran. His life touched generations of family and countless friends, and his absence will be deeply felt.

Richard Neal Bolden will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him, but the memories, stories, love, and respect he leaves behind will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
