Richard Conley, age 83, of Barnetts Creek Road, Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at his home.

Richard was born March 17, 1939 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Charlie Conley and Elva Rice Conley. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law Jeb Blevins; four brothers, Harold Conley, Charles Conley, H. M Conley and Eugene Conley; two sisters, Arlene Blair and Carol Knox.

He is survived by his wife, Neva Lee Ward Conley of Staffordsville, KY; one son, Richard Ryan Conley and wife Loretta, of Oil Springs, KY; two daughters, Vanessa Lynn Conley Blevins of Washington Courthouse, OH and Treva Jean Conley Tackett and husband Perry of Salyersville, KY; five grandchildren, Perry Michael Tackett and wife Callie, Jessica Michelle Cheek and husband Jason, Zachary Andrew Blevins and wife Ashley, Alice Anne Blevins and Shelby Paige Conley and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Rutherford Blair, Jerry Colvin, Travis Blair and James Kelly Caudill officiating.  Burial to follow at Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, KY.  Friends may call at Jones-Preston Funeral Home Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
