Ricky Fairchild, age 51, of Staffordsville, passed away Monday morning, March 30, 2026, at Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 30, 1975, in Paintsville to Lovena Parker Clark and the late Ricky Lee Fairchild.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kathy Michelle Fairchild; one son, Derrick (Emily) Fairchild of Lowmansville; one daughter, Tiffany Fairchild of Tennessee; two brothers: Clifford (Kimberly) Fairchild of Nippa, Donald Fairchild of Auxier; three sisters: Vickie Woods of Columbus, OH, Crystal (John) Clark of Thealka, Michelle (Jason) Laney of Whitehouse; two grandchildren: August Lee Anthony Fairchild, Rylynn Bellamy Everest Fairchild; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1 P.M. Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home with Harry Neal Frisby officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairchild Family Cemetery at Staffordsville. Friends may visit at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11 A.M. until the time of the funeral services at 1 P.M. on Thursday.
