Robert Carl Adams, age 66, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025 at his daughter's home.

Robert was born October 8, 1958 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late James Cline Adams and Bonnie Jean Baldridge Adams. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Ann Wells Adams and two brothers, Ronnie Gene Adams and James Bryan Adams.

He is survived by three daughters, Brandi Jean Adams of East Point, Kentucky, Deloris Mae Adams Lafferty of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Amber Dawn Hazlett of Ashland, Kentucky; two sons, Christopher Ryan Short and Daimen Isaac Gregory Short both of Ohio; three sisters, Sherry Lynn Peth of Genoa, Ohio, Bonnie Janice Blevins of Staffordsville, Kentucky, and Belva Ann Powers of Paintsville, Kentucky; two brothers, Clarence David Adams of Sitka, Kentucky and Phillip Ray Adams of Fredericksburg, Virginia; special niece, Teresa Dawn Cantrell of Staffordsville, Kentucky; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Scotty Mollett officiating. Burial will follow in the Trimble Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
