Robert "Bob" Peters, age 69, of Davis Branch, Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky.

Bob was born February 3, 1953 in Martin, Kentucky, son of the late Virgil Cranston Peters and Cecilia Alice Ropella Peters. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Judy McKenzie Peters.

He is survived by one son, Michael (Chastity) Peters of East Point, Kentucky; one daughter, Leslie (Steve) Reynolds of Paintsville, Kentucky; three brothers, David A. Peters of Berea, Kentucky, Johnny D. Peters of Langley, Kentucky and Paul A. Peters of Nicholasville, Kentucky; two sisters, Sandy A. Robinson and Mary M. Patton both of Lexington, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Preston Peters, Chase Reynolds and Ethan Reynolds.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at James McHenry Davis Cemetery, Davis Branch, Paintsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Wednesday, August 17, 2022 form 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 19, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Masonic rights will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022 by East Point Lodge #657.
