Rosemary Price Ward, age 87, of West Van Lear, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023 at her home.

Rosemary was born December 22, 1935 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Deward B. Price and Gladys Goble Price. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, JoAnn Price Hummer.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Ward; one nephew, Dr. Joey (Terri) Hummer; one great nephew, Benjamin James Hummer; and one great niece, Sophia Ann Hummer.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Aaron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023.
