Ruth Reynolds, age 80, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2025 at her home.

Ruth was born March 21, 1945 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Alonza Blevins and Eliza Frazier Blevins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Reynolds, son, Randy Eugene Reynolds, daughter, Crystal Reynolds, three brothers, Albert Blevins, Lonza Blevins, and James Blevins, and six sisters, Bonnie Crabtree, Susan Sudbrook, Judy Blevins, Lori Blevins, Ella Blair, and Marybelle Hurt.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy Fairchild of Paintsville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Heather (Andrew) Kestner of Paintsville, Kentucky, Dalton Fairchild of Paintsville, Kentucky, and Jonathan Fairchild of Paintsville, Kentucky; two sisters, Betty Foster of Lucasville, Ohio and Marie Wallen of Warsaw, Indiana; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow at Jayne Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
