Ruth Ann Harris, age 64 of Flat Gap, KY passed away Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Ruth was born January 31st, 1956 in Paintsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Eulas Price Salyer and Mary Maxine Davis Wilcox.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Michelle Harris.  Ruth was a member of the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Harris of Flat Gap, Kentucky, one daughter, Mary Jane Clark and husband Chris of Crestwood, Kentucky; one sister, Bonnie Lee Anderson of Crestwood, Kentucky; one brother Darrell Thomas McKenzie of Stambaugh, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Mattea Elise Clark and Braden Chrstopher Clark both of Crestwood, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 21st, 2020 in the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church with Jim McKenzie officiating.  Burial will follow in the Marvin Sparks Cemetery at Blaine, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m Friday, June 19th, 2020, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home, and 10:00 a.m until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 21st, 2020 at the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church.
