Ruthie Lynn Blanton Cantrell, age 64, of Riceville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at King's Daughters Medical Center.

Ruthie was born November 28, 1956 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter the late Henry Frank Blanton and Lizzie Williams Blanton Webb. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Adam Blanton and Leo Blanton.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Wayne Cantrell; one son, Leo Dwayne Cantrell and wife Jennifer of Marysville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Tyler Ethan Cantrell and Parker Alexander Cantrell; three sisters, Sina Mae Blevins of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Henrietta Blair of Lowmansville, Kentucky and Pam Owens of Oil Springs, Kentucky; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Private funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Brian Dewire officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Private visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at Jones-Preston Funeral Home.

Per the Governor's mandates, anyone attending the Private Visitation, Funeral service, Memorial service, or Graveside/Committal services are limited to 25 people total and face covering of some type required for everyone.
