Sherry Smith Bush, age 57, of Paintsville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 16 ^th , 2022 at UK Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky.

Sherry was born December 30, 1964 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of Sally Estep Smith Short and the late William "Bill" Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bush and special friend, Raymond Pennington.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Alisha (Brandon) Clark of Staffordsville, Kentucky and Amy Bush of Paintsville, Kentucky; two sisters, Sharon Blanton of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Mary Sue Daniel of Thealka, Kentucky; and eight grandchildren, Dylan Spencer, Carson Clark, Kinsley Sammons, Brooklyn Clark, Aireyonna Clark, Breonna Howard, Maddison Sammons, and Keagen Sammons.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 ^th , 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Smith and James VanHoose officiating. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 ^th , 2022 and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20 ^th , 2022.
