Sue VanHoose, age 80, of Nippa. Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 15, 2023 at her home.

Sue was born January 18, 1943 in Philippi, West Virginia, daughter of the late Albert Hartline and Nadine Gainer Hartline.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Thomas VanHoose; one son, Ronald Clarence VanHoose of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Lisa Hayes of Bonifay, Florida and Marsha Eastwood of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, Richard Hartline of Tremonton, Utah; one sister, Becky Garland of Kalamazoo, Michigan; four grandchildren, Beth Hampton, Karissa Paige Jones, Joslin Wireman, and Madison Hayes; four step grandchildren, Haley Muse, Kalyn Eastwood, Holly Eastwood, and Kacey Eastwood; two great grandchildren, Emerson and Wilder; and two step great grandchildren, Winnie Eastwood and Jamie Fritz.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with David Keith Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 24, 2023.
