Terry Edward Tackett, age 62, of Left Fork of Hammond, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at his home.

Terry was born March 31, 1962 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Carl Edward Tackett and Magdlene Skaggs Tackett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one step-son, John Walter Thompson.

Terry is survived by one son, Andy Lee (Brandi) Tackett of Hammond, Kentucky; one brother, Jack (Barb) Tackett of Sitka, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Chase Thompson, Logan Thompson, JT Banks, and Gavin Setser.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jim McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in the Tackett Family Cemetery, Left Fork of Hammond. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025.
