Dr. Thomas Thomasson, age 70, of Parker, Colorado, formerly of Holden, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his mothers home.

Dr. Thomas Thomasson was born March 16, 1950 in Holden, West Virginia, son of Lucille Sergent Thomasson of Thelma, Kentucky and the late Edward M. Thomasson. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one brother, Dana Thomasson.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Dutko Thomasson; two daughters, Andrea (Jason) Kessel and Leslie Thomasson both of Parker, Colorado; his mother, Lucille Sergent Thomasson; five grandchildren, Michael, Makenna, Blake, Addison, and Alexandria; one half-brother, David and Keith Muncey of Cleveland, Ohio; and two half-sisters, Danielle and Terry Tyson both of Cleveland, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Tyler Brumfield officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February, 1, 2021.
