With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Tonja Kay Music-Blevins, age 55, of Oil Springs, Kentucky, who passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Tonja was born on November 20, 1969, in Washtenaw County, Michigan, to the late Sam Henry Music and Emma Joyce Sturgill Music. She was preceded in death by her beloved sisters, Sheila Music and Tammy Mann.

Tonja is survived by her four daughters: Tasha (Taylor) Kann of Mio, Michigan, Sheila (Wilson) Lee of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Emma (Chase) Joppich of Traverse City, Michigan, and Hayley (Zachary) Schwert of Kalkaska, Michigan; as well as her five grandchildren: Griffin Lee, Myles Joppich, Deklan Kann, Gracey Kann, and Weston Joppich. She is also survived by her two brothers, Milford Music of Jasper, Michigan, and James Music of Oil Springs, Kentucky, along with her sister, Marlena Blazer of Oil Springs, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel, with Ronnie Spriggs officiating. Burial will follow at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Tonja will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
