Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Sitka Freewill Baptist church and  11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Sitka Freewill Baptist Church.

Burial: Castle Cemetery, Cave Fork Road, Nippa, KY

Vencil Castle, age 83, of Nippa, Kentucky , passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

Vencil was born June 18, 1939 in Johnson County, Kentucky, son of the late Lora Castle. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Castle, Bernard Junior Castle and Clarence Douglas Castle.

He is survived by one brother, Lonnie Castle of Nippa, KY and host of several cousins.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday in the Sitka Freewill Baptist Church with Jim McKenzie officiating with burial to follow at Castle Cemetery, Cave Fork Road, Nippa, Kentucky. Friends may visit Sitka Freewill Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 12:00 Noon until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022, and 11:00 a.m. until time of service 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2022.
