Vickie Lynn Arms Blanton, age 75, of Staffordsville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Paintsville ARH.

Vickie was born April 3, 1949 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Everett Arms and Alka Estep Arms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Blanton and a host of siblings.

She is survived by one son, Robert Reed of Staffordsville, Kentucky; one step daughter, Jeanne Dean Blanton of Staffordsville, Kentucky; two brothers, Bill Arms of Columbus Ohio and Wayne Arms of Farmington Missouri; one sister, Everetta Bradley of Stuttgart, Arkansas; and two grandchildren, Robert Corey Reed and Kaela Danielle Reed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Harold Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday.
