Viola Arms Blair, age 104, of Flat Gap, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at her home.

Viola was born July 26, 1917 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Oscar and Sarah Hitchcook Arms. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Linzie Blair; two sons, Ronald E Blair and Wendell Earl Blair; one grandson, Kelly Ray Blair.

She is survived by one grandson, Teddy E. Blair of Mt. Carmel, TN; three great grandchildren, Tyler C. Blair of Mt. Carmel, TN, Aaron K. Blair and Savannah Rae Blair Ward both of Staffordsville, KY; two great-great grandchildren, McKinley Blair and Ansley Click; one ex-daughter-in-law Betty Rosa of Flat Gap, KY.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Larry Blair officiating. Burial will follow at Blair Family Cemetery, Hall Branch, KY. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022, and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022.
