Violet Florene Coleman Williams, age 77, of Meally, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Mt. Manor of Paintsville.

Violet was born July 19, 1946 in Pike County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Arvil and Aster Gross Coleman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Deanna Coleman.

She is survived by one son, James Williams of Meally, Kentucky; six brothers, John Arvil (Rose) Coleman of Florida, Gary (Mary) Coleman of North Carolina, Joe Coleman of Richmond, Kentucky, Tracy (Pamela) Coleman of Walton, Kentucky, Danny Coleman and Ron Coleman both of Pikeville, Kentucky; two sisters, Linda (Larry) Craft of Meally, Kentucky and Betty (Lynn) Keck of New Ulm, Minnesota; and twenty-three nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Meally Church of Christ with David Parsley and Dennis Wolfford officiating. Burial will follow at Craft Family Cemetery, Meally, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Meally Church of Christ from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024.
