Virginia Mae Newkirk Page, age 61, of Stambaugh, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Paintsville ARH.

Virginia was born April 29, 1963 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Richard Harry Newkirk and Ida Louella Copley Newkirk Grisby. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Michael David Newkirk.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Page; two sons, James Herbert Page and Michael Eugene Page both of Hazard, Kentucky; three daughters, Miranda Louella Stewart of Betsy Layne, Kentucky, Anna Marie Page of Hazard, Kentucky and Jolene Joyce Page of Stambaugh, Kentucky; and three grandchildren, Justin "Bubby" Neil Staniford II, Jackson Ryan Ward and Abigail "Abby" Renee Ward.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Roger Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2024, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2024 and 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2024.
