Vivian Ruth Preston Hitchcock, age 89, of Nippa, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Hazard, Kentucky.

Vivian was born December 22, 1931 in Johnson County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles and Fanny Colvin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert "Bob" Preston, Ernie Honeycutt, and William Hitchcock.

She is survived by two sons, Michael (Trena) Preston of Hazard, Kentucky and CV (Teresa) Preston of Booneville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Brenin (Dawn) Preston, Lauren (Eddie) Taylor, Tara (Blake) Roberts and Landyn Sebastian; five great grandchildren, Alyssa Preston, Gracelynn Roberts, Jack Roberts, Preston Taylor, and Paige Taylor; and special companion, Lowell Hammonds.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Ben Stephens officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland  Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky.  Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 27, 2021 and 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021.
