Western Casey, age 84, of Wittensville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at his home.

Western was born November 17, 1938 in Pike County, Kentucky, son of the late Andy Casey and Roxie Stump Casey. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hicks Casey, two brothers, Bob Casey and Perry Casey and one sister, Mary Hicks.

He is survived by two sons, Chris Casey of Wittensville, Kentucky and Timothy (Debra) Casey of Paintsville, Kentucky; one daughter, Robin Ferguson of Ashland, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Shaun VanHoose, Jonathan Ferguson, Zoey Casey, and Kylee Casey; and three brothers, Phillip Casey of Kimper, Kentucky, Everett Casey of Indiana and Russell Casey of Chicago, Illinois.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Paintsville Calvary Church of God with Matthew Craft and Chester Keathley officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Paintsville Calvary Church of God Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday, March 13, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
