William Walter Crislip Jr., age 68, of Boons Camp, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, Kentucky.

William was born March 15, 1955, in Grundy, Virginia, son of the late William Walter Crislip, Sr. and Ruby Helen Lester Bennett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Jean Blevins Crislip; one great granddaughter, Riah Culwell.

He is survived by one son, Jerry Lee (Heather) Crislip Jr. of Dayton, Ohio; one daughter, Sara Elizabeth Crislip Bowling (Paul "Moose" Mollett) of Boons Camp, Kentucky; one bonus son and wife, Jesse and Micha Rife of Magoffin County, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Danielle Marie Elizabeth Bowling, Jonathon Ryne Johnson, Jr., Richard Lee Sherman, Gage Spence, Catherine Nicole Culwell (Jake), Jerry Lee Crislip, Jr., Jerritt Rife, Jessa Rife, Jenna Rife and Preslea Noel Mollett; two great grandchildren, Maicee Culwell and Arianna Culwell.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with Jimmy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Staffordsville Church Cemetery, Staffordsville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2023, and 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023.
